Question - What is the material made of?

Answer - The cover is made of 100% organic cotton. The cushion is generously filled with PP cotton.

Question - How should it be positioned when I sleep?

Answer - There are many options when it's time to sleep. You can lay the wedge pillow flat and use it as an incredibly comfortable, supportive full-length pillow. Or you can easily place your existing pillows in front of the wedge pillow. After all, it's a great alternative to a headboard and doesn't need to be removed from the bed when it's time to sleep!
