Is a knee brace necessary for the relief of osteoarthritis?

This OA knee brace is ideal for reducing pressure on your painful knee joint, whether after surgery, due to natural wear and tear from osteoarthritis, or after a ligament injury. By reducing pressure on the joint, the relief brace may potentially delay the need for knee surgery.

Key Features and Benefits

One Size Fits Most

The one-size-fits-most design accommodates most men and women with normal to high body weight. Thanks to the adjustable design, the straps can be adjusted to thighs with a circumference of up to 30 inches.

Low Profile & Lightweight Design

The relief brace is lightweight and flexible, has a low profile, and is equipped with foam padding and medically molded plastic to minimize skin irritation.

Reduces pressure on the inside (medial) or outside (lateral) of your knee.

This varus-valgus corrector adapts to your situation, providing strong stability with low weight by reducing pressure on the inner or outer side of your knee. Adjust the support for the outside (lateral) or inside (medial) with the included tools. The support strands run vertically and help prevent the knee from collapsing.

Quick-Release Straps for Easy and Fast Application

A custom fit is possible thanks to the strap system, which also includes quick-release straps for quick and uncomplicated application.

Integrated Anti-Slip Grips to Prevent Slipping

The inside is designed to be non-slip to ensure a secure hold throughout the day.

Includes Optional Flex and Extension Inserts for Range of Motion Control.

Integrated flex and extension inserts prevent excessive bending and hyperextension. The adaptability of the ROM knee brace benefits most injuries and provides postoperative support after a procedure.

Important Notes

  • Knee discomfort due to osteoarthritis
  • Changes in meniscal cartilage
  • Pubic bone fractures, avascular necrosis, and repairs of articular cartilage defects are examples of non-compartmental knee problems requiring pressure reduction.
  • All non-contact activities

Frequently Asked Questions

What conditions are treated with this knee compression brace? Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee, cartilage loss in the knee joint due to bone-on-bone contact, meniscal displacements, and unicompartmental knee situations requiring pressure reduction, such as avascular necrosis, articular cartilage defect repair, or pubic bone fracture, can be less painful with the osteoarthritis knee brace.

Who can wear the ROM brace? When purchasing, simply choose the right or left leg; it is universal and fits most patients easily. The straps can also be adjusted for thighs up to 30 inches in diameter.

How do I choose the right size? Sit on a chair with your leg extended and use a flexible tape measure. Measure the circumference of your leg six inches above and below the center of the patella. It is recommended to ask a friend or relative for help to get the most accurate measurements. To find the correct size, please consult our size chart in the images attached above.

How should the support be applied? Position strap 1 while seated. Fasten straps two to four in this order. If the fit is uncomfortable, adjust their position. Use tools for precise adjustments. Check comfort by retesting.

What size Allen key is needed? Your purchase includes all necessary tools, but if you lose the Allen key, you can also use a standard 3.0 Allen key.

Can this brace be worn over clothing? This OA brace can be worn directly on the skin or over pants. Its comfortable shape minimizes the risk of skin irritation and sensitivities.

How tall is this brace? 14.5 inches.

What is this brace made of? The outer casing is made of polypropylene polymer and the straps have polyester buckles. Lightweight metal with stainless steel rivets forms the upright support. Each element is latex-free.

How long should I wear it? The knee brace is comfortable to wear while standing, sitting, or participating in non-contact activities. For precise usage instructions, please consult your doctor.

Washing instructions: Remove the inserts, pads, and straps. Ensure all hook-and-loop fasteners are closed before washing. Straps should be hung to dry after hand washing in cold water with mild soap. Avoid ironing, bleaching, and dry cleaning. Occasionally apply a dry lubricant to the joint, especially after use in water.

Additional Features:

  • A joint adjustment tool is included.
  • Stabilizes and supports you during healing.
  • Reduced risk of injury
  • The color is black.
