What is Plantar Fasciitis?
Plantar fasciitis (pronounced "PLAN-ter fas-ee-EYE-tis") is the most common cause of heel pain. The plantar fascia is the flat band of tissue (ligament) that connects your heel bone to your toes. It supports the arch of your foot. When you strain your plantar fascia, it becomes weak, swollen, and irritated (inflamed). Then your heel or the bottom of your foot hurts when you stand or walk.
Plantar fasciitis is common in middle-aged people. It also occurs in younger people who are on their feet a lot, such as athletes or soldiers. It can occur in one foot or both feet.
What Causes Plantar Fasciitis?
Plantar fasciitis is caused by overstraining the ligament that supports your arch. Repeated stress can cause tiny tears in the ligament. These can lead to pain and swelling. This is more likely to happen if:
Your feet roll too far inward when you walk (overpronation).
You have high arches or flat feet.
You walk, stand, or run for long periods, especially on hard surfaces.
You are overweight.
You wear shoes that don't fit well or are worn out.
You have tight Achilles tendons or calf muscles.
- The arch support allows for the same effect of relief and comfort, even while you walk? It provides the necessary support and pressure to relieve your plantar fasciitis.
Made from high-quality stitched and elastic cotton material, this bandage offers support on the go. Wear them under shoes, boots, socks, and even slippers! Instant relief is now just a click away.
Don't suffer from constant pain and let it affect your quality of life. Keep walking and traveling so you can enjoy more in life. Order today - Arch Support.
HOW TO WEAR IT:
The support bandage was designed to be worn with the fabric on the bottom of your foot. It should be positioned under the foot, in the arch area. Since everyone is different and all have certain areas of the feet that need more support, it can be rotated or moved back and forth depending on the wearer's comfort. Make sure to align the pointed side towards your heel.
HOW TO CLEAN IT:
They are hand washable with mild soapy water. You should rinse them well and let them air dry. You can also wash them in the washing machine.
